Create a homeschool unit study on the 50 states in the United States that can include geography, history, and spelling. Science can be incorporated by learning about plants and animals native to each state. You can also include math in this unit study with activities such as the measurements of temperature and distance from one state to another.

Each of the 50 states has different climates, food, plants, animals, and sometimes even cultures, so you'll never run out of fun facts to teach!
